How to make chapati dough for soft chapatis

Chapati or roti is a staple food in almost every part of  North India and few parts of south India. It can be paired with a wide variety of side dishes like paneer butter masala Rajma masala channa masala mix veg subzi broccoli potata curry Egg capsicum curry the classic Egg thokku Dal makhani Chicken gravy The art of making soft chapatis or rotis lies in how we prepare the dough. There might be many tricks to it but i learnt my trick from one of my friend. It just makes use of 1/4 th part of water as hot water so that the dough becomes soft and after kneading it well for about 2-3 minutes you are sure to get soft rotis. Ingredients: 1 cup wheat flour 1/4 cup hot water 1/3 cup water 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp oil or clarified butter(optional) Steps: Take flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt. Add oil or ghee.
