Sweet boli is a healthy snack or breakfast recipe in our home and today i really enjoyed the process of making boli using sugar and bengal gram. Alternate options would be jaggery which is a healthier version of boli. Kids would definitely love this recipe. Do try it out and share your valuable feedback. Hot Chocolate

I have some fond memories around hot chocolate drink. While i was working away from my home country, whenever i stepped into a coffee shop i was so reluctant to order any drinks from there. The reason is the coffee we get there is only black coffee unless and otherwise it is a frappuccino or a cappuccino or something of that sort, which is no way close to our filter coffee or the instant coffee we get here in chennai. One of my friend ordered hot chocolate for me and she said hot chocolate tastes close to bournvita and since then i order hot chocolate and really liked the flavor too. There were so many instant dry recipes for hot chocolate, however i always wanted to make it fresh and immediately be served. Here is one such recipe today for you. Nendran Banana Fry

Nendran Banana Fry is a sweet recipe it's kind of an after meal snack for me and is equally sweet as having a chocolate to elate my mood. I got to eat and ofcourse learn this recipe from one of my keralite friends and since then i stopped eating nendran(a variety of banana widely grown in kerala) banana as such/raw. Trust me, you will be addicted as well, the smell of the banana makes your drool over it while cooking it. Here you go, a simple yet lipsmacking recipe for you guys. Happy cooking! Ingredients: 1 ripe nendran banana variety 1 tbsp ghee/clarified butter Steps: Slice the banana to a thickness of 1/4 of an inch or even thinner. Heat a griddle or tawa with ghee. Once it gets warm, add sliced banana. You can cook it in two batches depending on the size of the tawa/griddle. Cook on medium flame for about 2 minutes. Drizzle some ghee over the slices.
