Cauliflower bhaji

There are a variety of evening snacks like masala vada , veg momos , veg puff , onion pakoda , egg puff posted in my blog. Today I'm gonna post another recipe of evening snack - it is cauliflower bhaji, deep fried in oil. If you are concerned about deep fried foods and think twice before have one, then you can check out the cauliflower fry without oil recipe. It tastes amazing and equivalent to the deep fried ones. Veg Puff

Evening snacks can be made interesting, at times it might become our dinner too! I made more number of veg puffs and ended up eating it all, so we skipped our dinner yesterday. This is my first try at making veg puff and it came out quite well in texture and taste. I'm happy to share the recipe here. Ripe plantain fry

There are times when we do not know what to do with ripe plantain laying at our kitchen shelf. Well, we can make a very quick 2 step recipe with it. It's a ripe plantain fry with a sugar coat. Ingredients: 1. 1 ripe plantain 2. 2 tsp ghee 3. 1 tsp sugar Steps: 1. Slice the plantain into small rounds. Heat a pan, add ghee to the pan. 2. Place the plantain slices in such a way, the plantain slices do not touch other slices. 3. Fry 2 minutes on each side on medium flame. 4. Coat each of the plantain slices with sugar crystals. Alternatively, you can add a little bit of salt if at all you like salty snack :)
