Egg Fry

Fried eggs is nothing but boiled eggs sliced and pan fried with minimal spice powders for few minutes with a choice of fresh coriander leaves or mint leaves or rosemary. This serves as an amazing side dish for rice especially rasam and sambhar rice. Do give it a try at your home and share your valuable feedback. Pepper Chicken Gravy

Pepper chicken gravy is a delicious recipe that calls for simple ingredients from our kitchen and could be made easily by anyone following the steps. It's quite tasty and goes well with rice, roti and dosa. You need not marinate the chicken before cooking hence the cooking process takes about 25 minutes. Lets take a look at the steps to prepare this gravy. I have already shared the recipe for pepper chicken , however it is a dry one. Ingredients: 2 medium sized onions 2 medium sized tomatoes 1 tsp snauff 1 green chilli, slit vertically 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp cooking oil 350 gms of chicken 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 3 tsp pepper corns 2 tsp cumin seeds 1 sprig curry leaves 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves salt to taste 3/4 cup water 1. Tangy Egg Gravy/Muttai Kuzhambu

Egg Khuzhambu or egg gravy in thick tamarind sauce goes well with white rice, idly and dosa. If you are an egg lover who prefers to eat boiled egg over omelette, you can try this recipe. The recipe is similar to making a tamarind based gravy with a final touch of  raw eggs poured into it and simmered without stirring until the egg cooks thoroughly. Ingredients: 3-4 eggs 1.5 cup of thick tamarind juice salt to taste 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp gingely oil or any cooking oil 1 sprig curry leaves 2 medium sized onions 1 small tomato 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnishing 1 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp urad dhal/black gram Steps: 1. Prawns Masala

Prawns are such beauties(excuse me if you are a vegetarian) to cook and it just takes very few minutes to get cooked. One interesting thing to be noted while cooking prawns, are if you cook them too much they would become rubbery. Hence keep an eye on the timings, (hardly 3-4 minutes on high flame, tada prawns are cooked!) Prawn masala is a traditional recipe cooked with an onion,tomato base with all the spice powders.
