Tomato 🍅 Rice 🍚

Every other mom out there wake up in the morning, thinking what to cook for their family on a given day. If you do not have much time say like an hour to prepare your meals for the day, then you could simply make variety rice. Variety rice are quick and easy recipes that usually helps many of the working women to make it on the go, less than 30 minutes or so. Coconut Rice

Coconut rice is made out of cooked rice with few nuts and grated coconut tempered in oil and spices. This dish doesn't take lot of time and can be cooked quickly for kids lunch box. Also bachelors can cook easily as it requires few ingredients. Ingredients: 4 tbsp grated coconut 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp split urad dhal 1 tsp finely chopped ginger 7-9 cashews 2 green chillies, slit longitudinally 1 cup cooked rice (250 ml) salt to taste oil for tempering Steps: 1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and urad dhal. 2. Once mustard seeds start to splutter, add cashews as a whole or broken as desired. 3. Cashews turn light brown in just a minute. Now, add chillies and ginger pieces. 4. Saute well for 3 minutes. Then add grated coconut to the pan and fry till the coconut starts to change its color. Add little oil and fry well. 5. Bisibelebath

Bisibelebath is a variation of sambar rice but in a complete mixed form of rice, dhal, masala powder and vegetables. This is a self-sufficient food i.e, you can eat it without any side dish as it has a lot of vegetables of our choice. Let's look at the ingredients needed: Ingredients: 1. 1 cup rice 2. 1/2 cup toor dhaal 3. 1/4 cup chopped potatoes 4. 1/4 cup chopped carrots 5. 1/4 cup peas 6. 1/4 cup chopped capsicum (of any color) 7. few cashews (optional) 8. 7 small onions 9. 1 gooseberry size tamarind 10. 2 tbsp oil 11. 1 tsp mustard seeds 12. 1 tsp black gram(urad dhaal) 13. few curry leaves 14. 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves 15. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 16.
