Gulab Jamum Cake

Gulab Jamun is anyone's favorite dessert, and in particular, gulab jamun with ice cream is a hit among kids. There is a fusion cake idea with this gulab jamun and its absolutely no bake cake. Just give it a try when you have enough time as it takes time to assemble the cake, dripping sugar syrup and layering with gulab jamun slices and finally topping with gulab jamun. Wow! I have homemade paneer gulab jamun s, here are some scenes of preparing the gulab jamuns before hand. You see three different ones, fried ones waiting to be soaked in the sugar syrup, ones immersed in sugar syrup and the soaked delicious ones ready to go into the fusion cake. Also I have used butter cream frosting with a dash of whipping cream, for this recipe which can easily be substituted with flour cream frosting or whipped cream frosting. Paneer Gulab Jamun

It's the festival season here and i have started making gulab jamun a week prior to the festival just because i'm crazy about this particular sweet. I wanted to make it something special out of the ordinary so i went to make paneer gulab jamun. Though there were so many tempting ads going around in the TV for instant gulab jamun mix, i specifically ignored it all! Here it is guys! - tried and tested recipe of paneer gulab jamum. Soft Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamoon is the most sought after dessert during festival season. Today, i'm sharing with you all the recipe for soft gulab jamoon using store brought instant mix.You can alternatively prepare the gulab jamoon mix right from scratch as described in this blog itself. Ingredients: Gulab jamun instant mix or (1 portion of milk powder or khoya +1/4 portion of all purpose flour + a pinch of baking soda) 1 tbsp ghee 1/2 cup of thick boiled milk with malai (foamy layer that gets formed while boiling milk) oil for deep frying 2 cups of sugar 2 cups of water 1 cardamom or 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder How to make soft gulab jamun: 1. You can use any store bought instant mix or if you are making the dough from scratch, use a cup of khoya or a cup of milk powder along with 1/4 cup of all purpose flour and a pinch of baking soda.
