Chicken uppu kari which literally translates to chicken salt curry is quite simple to make with the least of ingredients from your kitchen pantry. This is somewhat similar to pallipalayam chicken as it  uses onions and dry red chillies as one of the important ingredients but it does have its mild variations here and there.
