I had a dental surgery yesterday and hence i have stayed away from my blog for the past two days. Also i could only eat yogurt, cheese, pasta and green tea till today. Here I'm going to share a recipe which is also kid friendly. Yes, it is similar to the maggi noodle soup, i have made pasta soup which was and is my saviour since the tooth extraction. I tried to have bread toast today morning and my gums started aching a lot. I though i could manage to have bread and other soft foods on the second day, alas! pasta is the only option i have got. It takes just 15 minutes for the overall process and tada, you are done with your pasta soup, which is quite easy to swallow with just one side of your mouth. It's quite easy and very quick to make as we go through the steps, you will realize it soon :) Here i have used golden orea cookies to prepare the base crust of the cheese cake, you can use the normal oreo cookies instead. Kids should be fed with fish and other omega 3 fatty rich foods like almonds,kale, spinach, salmon fish etc. We are going to see how to make fish curry using any fish like tilapia, red snapper, pompfret or salmon. Pepper gravy or milagu kuzhambu (in Tamil) is so very apt for rainy days to escape from runny nose and congestion of chest. It helps to clear the mucus from the nose, as it has lot of pepper and other spices added to it. The making of milagu kuzhambu is damn easy, once you roast the masala. Overall cooking time is only 15 minutes and it even reduces if you have powder prepared beforehand. While there are few standard paneer recipes like paneer butter masala, kadai paneer, paneer burji, paneer tikka masala, paneer paratha, chilli paneer, the one I made today is quite different from the ordinary. On Thursdays, I make vegetable pulao or coconut milk rice with brinjal fry as the side dish. But however, over the period of two months time, i somehow got bored with this routine and wanted to try something new.
